Our Fine Weekend: Seeing Stripes

How much do we love Frog Tape? A lot, a lot, a lot. We’ve tried other painter’s tapes, but they haven’t worked that well. In fact we’ve used masking tape that’s worked better. We had the perfect project this past weekend to try out Frog Tape for the first time.

We shared our indecision on paint colors here and our inspiration board here. After getting the tile done we knew it was time to kick it into high gear and get our bathroom painted, so we could put it back together. Mostly to get all of the bathroom paraphernalia out of the hall, in order to tile the hall. So, we rolled up our sleeves and rolled on the paint.

What do you think?

A before reminder…

After new tile and painting…

We hope you like it as much as we do. For the wondering ones we ended up choosing Behr’s Toasted Marshmallow and Country Beige.

When we started this renovation project in August we were so excited we just couldn’t wait to sink our teeth in. In late October, November and early December we lost our drive a bit. Maybe it was the holidays or the fact that our kitchen was finally  functional again, but whatever the reason we welcomed back our drive this past weekend. With each step taken and improvement we’ve made in the last two weeks we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is calling our names. We just can’t wait to finish it up and enjoy our new space.
