Seeing the light

This week we are working- I mean my father is working on the electrical in the kitchen. This is definitely a job we would have had to hire out if we weren’t lucky enough to have someone skilled at it. Thank Pa!

This has made us start to think about lighting and the space as a whole, dining room and kitchen. We don’t want too much going on but we want some pendant light

For now, we are looking into these two globe lights as our pendant lighting. We will have one over each window. We are leaning towards the globe from West Elm. What do you think?

So, when you ask what “we” think… are those rhetorical questions? I really love the one from Pottery Barn (though I generally prefer West Elm style), but the pendant just seems to have more personality and character.

We really do want to know what you think! So thanks for being our sole reader and our comment queen! We love it and you! I agree with you on the character and personality with the Pottery Barn globe. Now it’s convincing Marshall.

I think the pottery barn globe does have character but since I lean more to the modern side, I prefer the West Elm ones. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, just depends on the look your going for. Thanks for stopping by!
